The question is... As we all know Eppies are based on which tree they live in. So my question to you is which type of tree would you like to see an eppie created for. Palm, Birch, Redwood, ect.

Are eppies only in trees? What about bushes and flowers? Or are they reserved for other well known insects like bees...?

I wonder that too. Maybe they're literally everywhere and we just don't notice.

LOL im so glad you all are interested in where the Eppies can be! Eppies are based off the word Epiphyte which can be found on many living organisms, however these EPPIES are only found on Flowering Plants (Magnoliophyta)
More Specificaly for you science nerds like me...
Dicotyledons (Magnoliopsida; broadleaf or hardwood trees) birch, holly, dogwood, ect.
Monocotyledons (Liliopsida) coconut, bamboo ,palm, ect.
Conifers (pinophyta; softwood trees) redwood, pine, cedar, ect
Ginkgos (Ginkgophyta)
Cycads (Cycadophyta)
Ferns (Pterophyta)
and possibly Fossil Trees...So look for Eppies from all these different types fo trees (look at the image on the home page for some examples) I'm really excited to introduce them into the Eppie universe!!!

there's a spiky looking Eppie that's on your homepade, #2 from the right I think. He looks pretty cool. He's all "powered-up" looking. The spotted Eppie chick looks pretty cute to..I shall call her cow-eppie.

Yay! More eppies! The cuteness continues! I'd vote for Redwood just cause it sounds cool...like: "Hey there stranger, what tree you be from eh?" Stranger looks stern and serious, "I'm from Redwood, Sir." "Oooooohhhh..." The Sir and the bystander step back a bit. "Yup." says the Stranger. "Redwood." They both say. See!? It would be cool!

Most of the Eppies where I live are in the magnolia forests also including bay, birch, holly (a whole hammock), and dogwood.
That would be the Dicotyledons.

Those are the exact trees that i was born and raised around so you can bet that Eppies from those tree will make an appearance in the future. I spent many years climbing and exploring the Magnolia trees in my grandparents yards, and i have many fond memories...so i hope to create a storyline that will do justice to my memories!!
Thanks for joining and writing Epiphytic...hope you enjoy the eppies!

Savannah Live Oaks - their branches wind and twist like serpents. So cool and beautiful. I think they are a cousin of the "water oak", which I saw a lot of growing up in Alabama.

The live Oaks Woobit, are actually the reason the Eppies even exist. I was sitting on the porch in savannah and loved the live oaks, their deep bark and awesome branches. I wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny civilization there, so then i created the Eppies and their world. So the "main" Eppies are actually Live Oak Eppies.
