So i am in the process of giving the book "The Love of the Eppies" a "facelift" the second edition of the book is going to be longer, have longer/different wording, and be in a different format. I really think these changes are going to make the book more enjoyable for readers of all ages. I cant wait to get this out there to everyone.

The exact dimensions have not been finalized, but the book will be in a form that can be distributed easier than the size i currently have. Im going to continue this size for the next Eppie books, so i want to make sure it will work for future books as well. Hopefullyill get the gears goign and start working on the new pages! i gotta get this next extended book out!. Anyays thats whats going on as far as the new size, as soon as i know exact dimensions ill let you know.

Sounds like a good idea, the size was alittle akward for the amount of pages it had (on the first edition). Is there going to be any redrawing of the original pannels or are you just adding to the original story?

There are going to be an additonal 32 pages added to the book, the text is going to be completely re-written, and yes a few of the pages from the first "book" are going to be reworked. I think the first release was a good first book, i learned alot, but the story aspect of the book is a bit shallow, and i feel that with the additions, the book will feel more substantial in your hand and also give a better reading experiance. Don't get me wrong, i am very happy with the "Love of the Eppies" book but i want the experiance to be a bit more. The new format is what im having the most trouble with, it seems that a landscape format is hard to distribute...i may have to go with the same size book, different interior dimensions. I am also going to change the background of the pages from gray to white. Even if i stay with the same size, i think the thicker book will "feel" better, especially when the over all page count is going to exceed 72 pages. Also too i have begun work on the "Art and science of the Eppies" This book i am extremely excited about. It will include a glossary of terms, early developmental sketches, images of 3-d sculptures, the story on how the eppies were created, and 10 additional works of Art by some of the best artists i know. This boo is going to be packed with goodies...i think its gonna be a great companion to the revised story book. I'm working on the design of the book and compiling all the really awesome stuff to add in. I'm thinking the book is going to be thick...i'll let you know when i plan out the page count. Well hope that answers the question and maybe then some

Awesome! you could keep the landscape format, just put three original book pages per page inthe new one, that way you can fit six pages in just 2! kinda like the Frezzato books....well good luck!

I've some comments about the first book what could be fixed, but need to have the book in front of me, so got to wait until next week when I "borrow" it back. The biggest one, which I can remember clearly, is the hand-written narrations looked jaggy like a low-resolution scan.
